Creative Commons (CC)
Creative Commons (CC) is a nonprofit organisation that aims at supporting the publication and distribution of digital media content by offering standardised licence agreements. CC offers six different licences, which can be used to define the legal conditions concerning the distribution of creative content.
You as an artist retain copyright to your work, while setting the conditions of its use. restorm.com offers you many options when you upload a song and make it available for download. You can decide how fans may use your songs, such as under what conditions, thus choosing a license that fits your needs with only a few clicks! Your name has to be mentioned in any case but you can further decide, whether people can modify your songs, e.g. for a remix, and whether they can be used solely for noncommercial use or also for commercial use.
While checking out other profiles, take note of these icons:

- Attribution — You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licenser.

- Noncommercial — You may not use this work for commercial purposes.

- No Derivative Works — You may not alter, transform, or build upon this work.
